Meet Dr.Lawson

My Practice Philosophy

My practice philosophy is to help people achieve optimal health by enjoying a pain free life through chiropractic care. My focus is to pinpoint and resolve problems within your spine and extremities, not just disguise the problem with medications. Throughout your care I may utilize a variation of techniques. The manual method of adjusting is a hands-on approach where you can feel or hear the adjustment. A low force technique such as the Activator method is a softer gentler approach. Extremities have constantly been my foundation. Your shoulder, wrist, knee and ankle can generate a problem in addition to your spine. I have an open relationship with each patient, together we will discuss how the adjustments are contributing to your ideal health. We will evaluate which technique is significantly effective and most comfortable for you. You can be certain that with your pain or injury, I can give a proper assessment and render treatment.

Discovering Chiropractic

After graduating Central Kitsap high school, I worked at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton. I was able to take on a night pharmacy job while attending Olympic Community College. As a pharmacy technician I was amazed at how many medications people were taking. They would take one for their diagnosis and an overabundance of others to counteract the side effects. It made me wonder why people would cover up their pain with medication instead of fixing the root problem. One day I was with a good friend when he went in for his chiropractic appointment. I had never been to a chiropractor or knew anything about chiropractic before this. It was then, I found out Chiropractors shared my same thought. I was interested to learn more. This same friend then helped introduced me to a chiropractor who shared with me the chiropractic philosophy, the nervous system controls everything in the body. Interference to the nervous system from spinal misalignments not only causes pain but the body cannot operate at its optimal potential. This will affect all aspects of your life. I was hooked, I finished my prerequisites and moved out to Davenport Iowa in 1994 to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Life away from

Chiropractic

Outside of Chiropractic, I enjoy spending time with my wife Carol and my two young daughters Isabella and Annalise. Many mornings we spend time doing different workouts as a family. We also enjoy much of our free time golfing, boating, waterskiing, and paddle boarding. One of our favorite things to do is go on relaxing vacations to warm, beach destinations where we can decompress.
